Terms of Service

Effective September 29, 2026 · Last updated September 29, 2026

These terms govern the use of Core Value Recruiting by businesses and the people on their teams. Please read them. They explain what we provide, what you are responsible for, and the limits of our responsibility.

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between Service Levers LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Core Value Recruiting, and the business that creates or uses a Core Value Recruiting account ("you", the "Client"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation to one, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.

Job applicants who use the application, scheduling and interview pages we host for Clients agree to use them honestly and lawfully and not to interfere with them (see "Acceptable use"). How applicant information is handled is explained in our Privacy Policy.

The service

Core Value Recruiting is hiring software for home service businesses. Depending on your plan, it lets you define your core values, write and publish job openings, host a public application page with screening questions and public job pages for your openings, schedule and run group interviews, invite applicants to recorded video interviews, score interviews, record hiring decisions and hires, hand candidates to a hiring manager, and send applicants and your team the related emails. Features change over time; the features on each plan are shown on our pricing page and in the portal.

Accounts and roles

  • Each Client has an organization. Its members have one of three roles: Owner, Admin or Hiring Manager. Owners and Admins can invite and remove team members, change roles, manage billing, edit the company profile, accept our equal employment opportunity terms on the organization's behalf, and delete applicants. Hiring Managers review and score candidates and work the candidates handed to them.
  • You are responsible for everything done under your organization's accounts, for keeping sign-in details secure, for giving access only to people who should have it, and for removing access when someone leaves. Tell us promptly at privacy@servicelevers.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
  • The information you give us about your business must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • Each person may create at most one free-plan organization.

Plans, billing and the free plan

Paid plans

  • Paid plans are Foundation, Co-Pilot and Concierge. Current prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, and the price you agree to at checkout is the price you are charged.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each month until canceled. Prices exclude any taxes that apply.
  • Owners and Admins can change or cancel your plan in the portal's billing settings. Changes and cancellations take effect as shown there. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refundable.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you before a change applies to your subscription.
  • If a payment fails, we may limit access to paid features until it is resolved. When a paid subscription ends, your organization moves to the free plan and keeps its information; anything above the free plan's limits stays as it is, but you cannot add more beyond those limits.

The free plan

The free plan (CVR Free) has no charge and includes, per organization:

  • 1 published job opening at a time, and up to 50 applications per calendar month (UTC). When the limit is reached, your application page stops accepting new applications until the next month.
  • Up to 4 group interview sessions per calendar month, with up to 12 applicants per session. Core Value Recruiting-hosted Zoom meetings are not included; you can use your own meeting link.
  • 1 team member.
  • Up to 25 emails to applicants and 10 test emails per day, using our standard email templates.
  • 3 AI job-ad drafts and 5 AI core-value suggestion runs per organization, ever (see "AI features").
  • No spreadsheet import of past applicants and no custom email templates.
  • Your first job opening is reviewed by us before it is published. Free-plan application and job pages are not offered to search engines and show a link anyone can use to report the listing.

We may change the free plan or its limits, or discontinue it, with notice.

Acceptable use

Job listings must be real, lawful and non-discriminatory

  • Every opening you publish must be for a real job with your business, described honestly. No scam, fake, bait-and-switch or misleading listings; no listings that require applicants to pay anything, buy anything, or recruit others; and no using the service to collect applicant information for anything other than hiring for that job.
  • Listings, screening questions, interview questions and scoring criteria must not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
  • Before your organization can publish an opening, an Owner or Admin must accept our equal employment opportunity terms, and each publication records your attestation to its content. Our pre-publication wording check is an automated aid that catches some problem phrases. A clean result is not approval, legal review or a guarantee that a listing is lawful.
  • We may review, refuse to publish, or unpublish any listing, and suspend an account, if we believe a listing breaks these Terms. This includes acting on reports made through a listing's "Report this listing" link.

Messages and applicant contact

  • You must have the consent and legal basis the law requires before you text, call or email applicants, including through your own systems connected to the service, and you must honor opt-outs.
  • Only import applicants you have the right to add, and only contact them as the law allows.

Using the service

  • Do not break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload malicious code or unlawful content.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the service's security, get around its limits or access controls, access another organization's data, scrape it, overload it, or reverse engineer it except as the law allows.
  • Do not resell the service or let anyone outside your organization use your account.

Your hiring decisions and legal compliance

  • You are the employer, and every hiring decision is yours. Core Value Recruiting provides tools to organize and document your hiring. It does not make or recommend hiring decisions, and it does not provide legal, human resources or employment advice.
  • You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your hiring, including anti-discrimination, wage and hour, recordkeeping, background check, immigration and work authorization, privacy, and messaging laws, and any law on recorded or video interviews that applies where you or your applicants are.
  • You are responsible for the content you publish and send, the screening questions and scoring criteria you set (which should be related to the job), the notices and consents your applicants must receive from you, and how you keep and use applicant records.
  • Screening questions are rules you write; the service applies them as you configured them. Review them to make sure they are lawful and job-related.

Applicant data

  • As between you and us, you control the applicant information collected for your openings. We process it on your behalf, to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it.
  • You give us permission to host, copy, process, transmit and display your content and your applicant information as needed to provide, secure and support the service.
  • You can export your applicant list, and Owners and Admins can delete individual applicants. To have your organization's information deleted, contact us.

AI features

  • AI features draft job ads, suggest core values from your discovery answers, and, on plans that include recorded video interviews, draft interview questions from your core values. They use OpenAI's models through our account. They are available to organizations on one of our plans, and work only after an Owner or Admin has accepted our equal employment opportunity terms.
  • Each AI job-ad generation counts as one draft, whether it is a first draft, a new version or a regeneration. A generation you stop partway still counts; one that fails before any text arrives does not. Saving, publishing, using the template and writing by hand never count.
  • On the free plan, each organization gets 3 AI job-ad drafts and 5 AI core-value suggestion runs in total. They do not renew, and drafts made while on a paid plan count toward them. On paid plans, each organization gets 50 AI job-ad drafts per calendar month (UTC) as fair use.
  • On every plan, AI job-ad drafts and core-value suggestions are each also limited to 20 requests per organization per day. We may set or change limits, and may suspend AI features for everyone, at any time.
  • AI output is a draft and can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. You must review and edit it before you use it, and you are responsible for what you publish. Do not put information into the AI features that you do not want shared with our AI provider.
  • The service does not use AI to screen, score, rank or make decisions about applicants, and you may not use the service to make automated hiring decisions about anyone.

Third-party services

The service works with services we do not control, including GoHighLevel if you connect your own account, meeting services such as Zoom or any meeting link you provide, and Stripe for payment. Your use of them is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them. Messages sent by your own GoHighLevel workflows are yours. When the service reports an email as sent, that means our email provider accepted it, not that it reached the recipient.

Intellectual property

  • We and our licensors own the service, including its software, design, default templates, starter questions and default scoring criteria. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal hiring while your account is active.
  • You own your content: your core values, job openings, questions, templates and the applicant information you collect. Content you save from an AI draft is your content, subject to OpenAI's terms; similar drafts may be produced for others.
  • If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using the service and cancel a paid plan at any time.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, do not pay, create risk or legal exposure for us, applicants or others, or if we stop offering the service. Where reasonable, we will give notice first.
  • When an account ends, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including those on applicant data, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law) survive.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any message will be delivered, or that you will receive a particular number or quality of applicants or hires. Results described on our website are examples, not guarantees.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the service or these Terms. Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100). These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, and do not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify us, and our officers, members and employees, against any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your job listings and other content, your hiring decisions and communications with applicants, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or anyone's rights.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and both parties consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and tell Clients about material changes by email or in the portal before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

General

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may send notices to the email address on your account; send notices to us at the contact details below.
